The internet is broken, and we want to do ours to fix it. The ability to track behavior was a giant leap for advertising and has helped many businesses drive efficiencies in their marketing spend. Unfortunately, this has come at the cost of privacy. Rather than addressing the problem, most sites now force you to acknowledge that you are being tracked. Those cookie banners that stop you in your tracks are now everywhere. Not only are they annoying and a poor user experience, but most aren’t implemented correctly: Most sites already track you before you consent.
We can do better, and we are on a mission to prove that you can run a sustainable business without tracking personally identifiable information until you need it for crucial things such as payments.
Toddle is a next-generation development platform, and next-generation web applications need to take privacy and security seriously.
Our infrastructure is built with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in mind. A GDPR policy states how users' data is collected, used, and stored. We make it easy; we don’t track our users or collect cookies. Your time with us ends when you leave and is limited to your eyes only.
The only data that toddle collects is the data necessary to provide you with our services. We only collect this data when you sign up, and the data we collect is limited to the user's name and email address. Sometimes, we may collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and operating system to improve our services and the user experience.
We do not collect data irrelevant to our service such as race, gender, religion, or political beliefs.
We do not store any information on you before you sign up for toddle.
The data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:
1. To provide our services to our users
2. To improve our services and user experience
3. To communicate with our users about their account and toddle services
4. To comply with legal and regulatory requirements
We do not use user data for purposes other than those listed above. We do not track our users and do not use cookies.
We use Plausible.io for web tracking and Posthog.com for in-product analytics.
All data that toddle stores is on secure servers within the European Union. We implemented industry-standard security measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, or theft. We also regularly review and update our security measures to keep up with the latest best practices. If it’s necessary to store your specific data elsewhere, contact us about our services that ensure you stay compliant with your specific data protection standards.
There’s no fine print; toddle does not share personal data with third parties. Period.
You have rights. Exercise them at any time. You have the right to request any of the following:
1. The right to access your personal data
2. The right to request changes to your personal data
3. The right to request the deletion of your personal data
4. The right to object to the processing of your personal data
5. The right to data portability
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at hello@toddle.dev. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
As we learn, we will improve, meaning that toddle may update this GDPR privacy policy occasionally. We will post any changes on our website, and we encourage our users to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our data privacy practices. We choose this method rather than spamming you with emails you will never read.
If you have any questions or concerns about our GDPR privacy policy or data privacy practices, please contact us at hello@toddle.dev.
