webApp behaving like a mobile app

Hello, this question is more generic about HTML; is it possible to create a web page that the user can't scroll? The idea is to have a main page element that won't move, and inside a header, a footer, and a scrollable "main page".

I added the screenshot of the Discord app to give an idea.

    Thanks

Did you try setting the position to fixed and overflow y scroll to hidden? Then you could set the divs inside to overflow y scroll

Hello @needtheanswers, thanks for you answer! But I'm sorry I wasn't clear. In fact, when we display web apps in a mobile phone, the user can still move down the whole page (for example to refresh it); I would like this capability to be impossible, as if he was using a mobile app. The main page has to be fixed.

Hi @ ahh I get it now. Unfortunately I don´t know how to make this happen. The best thing that came to my mind was to set a touchmove action on the parent that simply prevents default but now nothing scrolls anymore..

Thanks a lot @needtheanswers for looking at it! Let's see if someone else has an idea. Maybe it's not possible
