Updating text with variables

    Can I update text on page using the first_name variable which has been set from data pulled from an API call?

    I think I read that this is how it works, but it doesn't seem to work for me... any ideas?

    You use the fx button on the text element

    Btw, I think the final completion card on that challenge had a broken title (showed undefined).
    Should I post a bug or can you take care of it 😁

    Also - does binding variables only apply to input fields?

    you can use the concatenate function to piece bits of data and raw values together

    What else are you considering binding to a variable? What's your use case?
  • Binding variables to show values in other areas could either be user generated (i.e. in input fields) or could be the result of real-time data changes from the API, as far as I'm aware
