    Hi guys

I have a search bar and I want to show the result divs only after I hit search.

Is your input and button inside a form element? If so, you can just use a submit event on the form element and then add your API call to your submit event workflow.

If the divs need to be hidden, you’d need a show/hide condition based on the result of the API call or something like that.
  • So, set them to be hidden (condition needs to be false) and then will show when the condition evaluates to true.

To add to what Tom mentioned, in yesterday's live video Andreas also showed a similar way of making sure your API doesn't get called until you want it to and with the data you want it to be: https://www.youtube.com/live/jZvV5cYILdA?feature=shared&t=1370

    22:50min to 24:30min.
