How can i set a shadow for a svg (icon)?

Have you found how? In case of not, I would recommend to select the parent div and add the shadow to the parent. Any SVG should be in a div in order to style them and position it better in your UI.

Can't you add the shadow on the CSS box either on the SVG element or it's children?

I managed, but it's very frustrating.
Adding it on the parent would only create a shadow for the outer box

No, doesn't work.
Only works by adding a filter attribute to the SVG
