I just faced the exact issue today. I was able to resolve it just now.
my project was functioning but in the editor it is blank. This happened while was working on some function in the project but after one of my reloads it behaved as you described.
When I remembered that the last thing I did was add the custom function, I deleted it. the editor started showing the pages again.
